Batik - Colour Me Natural

Explore the styles and history of traditional and contemporary batik.

Experiment with batik application and dying processes to create stunning artworks on fabric. Using natural forms as stimulus your students will experiment with a range of media, develop their observational skills, their understanding of colour relationships and pattern making.

Artworks can be created individually or as a large group piece.

This workshop can be extended to an Artist in Residence program.
