Batik Adult Art Class on 23 May 2010

Explore the styles and history of traditional and contemporary batik in this Katoomba, Blue Mountains art class. Batik is a process of using hot wax and dyes to create stunning artworks.

Experiment with batik application and dying processes to create stunning artworks on fabric. Using a variety of forms and images as stimulus Sally will guide you through the batik techniques, and help develop and extend your understanding of colour relationships and pattern making.

This class is suitable for complete beginners and more experienced students. No art skills are necessary just your enthusiasm!

This workshop is primarily for adults but if you have a child 14 + that would like to participate they are more than welcome.
